I've spent a LOT of time singing in choirs & vocal groups, so I love to use vocal harmonies & layers in my songs. Sometimes it's all very minimal, but it's there My style, whatever that is exactly, is a result of the limitations I have in terms of tools and not an intended sound. If I had the means I could have equally been a country or jazz singer, but I found electronica to be the most accessible mode of music creation for me. Limitation spurs creativity and my creation is a reflection of that. To be a jazz crooner, empty hotel bar lounge at midnight, a pianist and maybe you sitting in the corner with a gin & tonic...
